What this centre does.
West building and imaging drum. Follow the lime line from Gate 1.
Good decisions need good tests. Our laboratory runs around the clock, and the imaging drum on the west building houses CT and MRI with a radiologist on site every weekday.
Results go to your doctor first, then into your patient account with a WhatsApp message to say they are ready. Nobody has to come back just to collect a paper.

Laboratory
Blood counts, malaria tests, chemistry, hormones and microbiology.
Ultrasound
Abdominal, pelvic, pregnancy and vascular scans.
Digital X-ray
Walk in X-ray for referred patients, Monday to Saturday.
CT scanning
Head, chest and body CT, with emergency cover at night.
MRI
Brain, spine and joint MRI with a quiet scanning room.

Questions
Asked often in this centre.
Can I walk in for a blood test?
Yes, with a request form from any doctor. Mornings are quietest before 9am.
Do I need to fast?
Only for some tests, such as glucose and cholesterol. Your booking message will say so.
Is MRI safe for everyone?
Not for everyone. Our team asks about implants, pacemakers and pregnancy before any scan.
