What this centre does.

High blood pressure and heart disease are common and often silent. Our Heart centre is built to find problems early, explain them in plain words and plan care with you, not around you.
Tests happen in the same building as your clinic, so a typical first visit with an ECG and an echocardiogram takes about two and a half hours.

Echocardiography
Ultrasound of the heart, reported by a cardiologist the same day.
Stress testing
Treadmill testing with a physiologist and a doctor present.
Heart rhythm monitoring
24 to 72 hour monitors you wear at home, with results reviewed by the team.
Blood pressure clinic
Long term follow up with a nurse specialist and WhatsApp reminders.

Questions
Asked often in this centre.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book the Heart centre directly, though some HMOs ask for one before they pay.
Will I get my results the same day?
ECGs and echocardiograms are usually reported the same day. Rhythm monitors take two to three days.
Can I bring my old results?
Please do. Bring paper copies or send photos on WhatsApp and we add them to your record.
