Overview
What this centre does.
North building, three floors. Follow the lime line from Gate 1.
Children are not small adults, so they have their own building, their own waiting room and their own doctors. Our paediatricians see everything from fevers and coughs to long term conditions such as asthma and sickle cell disease.
Every cot on the ward has a fold out bed for a parent, because children get better faster with family close. The play team helps with blood tests, scans and long days.

Yes, with the special care baby unit for the very small or unwell.

Yes. Our play team uses games and numbing cream to make blood tests less frightening.
