Six questions to ask any developer
- Visit at rush hour
See the real commute, not the Sunday one.
- Ask about power hours
How many hours did the generators run last month, and what does diesel cost residents?
- Read the service charge budget
A good estate shows you the line items, not just a total.
- Check the escrow
Who releases deposits, and against what certificate?
- Meet the facility manager
They will run your building for years. Ask how they handle complaints.
- Read the defects clause
Twelve months of defects cover is standard. Ask what it includes.
