The advisers

People who know your file

Every client has a lead adviser and a checking adviser. Here are some of the people you will meet. Names and faces are examples for this demo.

Partners and advisers

Small team, long memories

We keep each adviser to a limited number of families, so they remember your children's names and your plans for them.

How we work together

Two advisers on every file

Your lead adviser runs the review, writes your plan and is the person you call. A checking adviser reads every recommendation before it goes to you and asks the awkward questions: is this too risky for a goal that close, is the fee worth it, have we priced in inflation properly.

If your lead adviser is away, the checking adviser already knows your file. Nobody has to start from the beginning.

  • A named lead adviser and a named checking adviser
  • Quarterly calls with your lead adviser
  • Annual review with both advisers present
  • WhatsApp and phone replies within one working day
Qualifications

What our advisers have done to earn your trust

Professional exams

Every adviser holds a recognised financial planning or investment qualification, and keeps it current each year.

Thirty hours a year

Ongoing training on tax, pensions, markets and the needs of Nigerian families.

No sales targets

Advisers are paid a salary and a share of client satisfaction scores, never of products sold.

Background checks

Every person who touches a client file has passed reference and background checks.

Careers

Join the team

We hire one or two people a year: graduate planners who want to learn the craft slowly and properly, and experienced advisers tired of sales targets. If that sounds like you, send a short note about why you care about this work.

Start with a planning review

Sixty minutes with an adviser at our Ajah office or on a video call. We look at your goals, your cash flow and what you already own, then write it up. The N25,000 review fee comes off your plan fee if you go ahead.
