Straight answers to common questions
Search below, or filter by topic. If your question is not here, the assistant or an adviser will answer it.
How much does a review cost?
N25,000 for about an hour, example rate. It comes off your plan fee if you go ahead.
Do you take commissions?
Never. We are paid only by our clients, which keeps our advice free of product pressure.
How are ongoing fees collected?
Quarterly in arrears, by invoice. Pay by transfer, card through Receivly or POS at the office.
Where is my money held?
In your own name with licensed custodians and fund managers. We never hold client money.
What do you invest in?
Treasury bills, government bonds, money market funds, Nigerian shares and dollar assets, chosen for each goal.
Can you guarantee a return?
No. Nobody honest can. We use example rates to plan and show you a range of outcomes.
How quickly can I withdraw?
Most holdings can be sold within a few working days. We plan so known bills never force a bad sale.
Do I have to live in Lagos?
No. Many clients meet us by video from other cities and abroad.
How often will we talk?
Quarterly calls for ongoing clients, a yearly review, and any time you message us.
Can my spouse join?
Yes, and we encourage it. Plans work best when both partners understand them.
What if I want to leave?
Give 30 days notice. Your investments are in your name, so nothing needs to be moved unless you choose.
What does the planner assume?
An inflation rate you choose, monthly saving and an example annual rate compounded monthly. Nothing more.
Is my planner data saved?
No. It stays in your browser until you choose to send it to an adviser.
Can you plan for parents' care?
Yes. Support for family members is a common goal and we plan it like any other.

Not sure if you need an adviser?
Many people do well on their own with a budget, an emergency fund and a simple savings plan. Advice earns its fee when life gets more complex: several children, a business, money abroad, or retirement within fifteen years.
Try the planner first. If the numbers look tight or confusing, that is a good time to talk.

Sixty minutes with an adviser at our Ajah office or on a video call. We look at your goals, your cash flow and what you already own, then write it up. The N25,000 review fee comes off your plan fee if you go ahead.
