03How quality works here

Five habits, kept every day.

  1. 01

    Approved suppliers only

Every raw material supplier is audited before their first delivery and every two years after.

  2. 02

    Quarantine until cleared

Materials and finished goods sit behind a yellow line until the laboratory releases them.

  3. 03

    Records you can follow

Each batch has one record, from weighing to delivery, kept for at least a year past expiry.

  4. 04

    Cold chain logging

Chilled stock carries a logger. A reading outside 2 to 8°C means quarantine and review.

  5. 05

    Listen and act

Complaints and side effect reports reach the safety desk the same day.

04Fake medicines

How to protect your shop and your patients.

Buy Lumen stock only from Lumen or a listed trade partner. Check the batch number here if a pack looks or feels different, the print is blurred, or the price is far below our trade price.

If a batch number does not appear, keep the pack aside and call the safety line on +234 800 000 0103. We collect it, test it and tell you what we find.

05Questions

About batches and notices.

Do I get a credit for withdrawn stock?

Yes, a full credit to your trade account when the stock is collected.

Can patients check a pack?

Yes, anyone can use the checker. Patients with concerns about a medicine should also speak to a pharmacist or doctor.

Something about a pack worries you?
