Respite stays
A few nights or a few weeks, with care

Minimum three nights. Everything a resident has is included: meals, care, activities and outings.
Who it is for
Four common reasons
- 1
Family is travelling
Children abroad, a wedding in Abuja, a long work trip. Mum stays with friends, not alone.
- 2
After a hospital stay
A few weeks of care and physiotherapy before going home.
- 3
A rest for carers
Husbands, wives and daughters who care every day deserve a break too.
- 4
Trying it first
Many residents begin with a fortnight and choose to stay.
The room
A furnished suite, ready to arrive
Respite guests stay in furnished suites in the care wing or the memory care wing, with fresh linen, towels, a television, a fan and air conditioning, and a call bell. Bring clothes, medicines in their packets, and a few photographs.
We meet every respite guest, or talk to their family, before they arrive, and write a short care plan.
