What it is really like
The care wing has twenty suites around a sunny courtyard, with the nurses' station at its heart. Every suite has its own shower room, room for your own furniture and a window onto the garden.
A care plan is written with you and your family before you arrive and reviewed every month. We record what matters to you as well as what you need: tea at four, the radio for the news, a hymn before bed.

About the assisted suite
How is care decided?
Our head of care meets you before you move in and writes a care plan with you and your family. It is reviewed monthly or sooner.
Does my HMO cover any of this?
HMOs usually cover clinic visits and some therapy, not accommodation or personal care. We help you check what your plan includes.
Can my own doctor visit?
Yes. Many residents keep their family doctor alongside our visiting doctor.
