Family council
A voice in how the village runs
Every quarter, residents and families meet the management team to talk about food, activities, care and anything else. Minutes are shared in the family account, and we report back on every request.
Families abroad join on video. The council chose the new menu in 2025 and asked for evening visiting on Fridays, which we now offer.
We live in Manchester. The daily notes and the Sunday video call mean I know how Daddy really is, not just what he tells me.
Questions
From families
Who do I call at night?
The nurses' station, day and night, on +234 800 000 4201. Example number.
How are concerns handled?
Raise anything with family liaison. Formal concerns get a written reply within five working days.
Can I see care records?
With the resident's permission, yes, in the family account.
Come for lunch and see for yourself
Most families decide after one visit. Walk the gardens, meet the nurses, sit in a cottage and stay for lunch in the dining hall. It is free, and there is no pressure.
