Since 2009

About the centre

Concordia Centre opened in GRA Phase 2 in 2009 with one hall and a kitchen. Today it hosts more than 600 events a year with a team of 120.

01Story

Built for the city's big days

The centre began when a group of Port Harcourt families could not find a hall with reliable power for a 500-guest wedding. They built one. Conferences followed, then exhibitions, then the Sky Terrace. Every expansion started with a question an organiser asked us.

We still answer to organisers first. The layout builder, the live calendar and the organiser account exist because people asked to see their event before paying for it, and to stop chasing receipts by phone.
