Divisions
Five divisions that feed each other.
Each division runs its own calendar and its own numbers, but they share land, power, trucks and people. Manure, grain, peel and water move between them every week.

Feed mill
Broiler, layer and fish feed from our own grain, for our birds and 600 farms nearby.
Inside feed millHow they connect
One estate, one loop
Grain to feed
About a third of our maize goes straight to the feed mill, which cuts what we pay for poultry and fish feed by roughly a fifth.
Manure to soil
Poultry manure is composted for twelve weeks and spread on the maize blocks before the first rains.
Pond water to fields
Nutrient rich pond water irrigates the dry season vegetable plots between January and March.
Peel to power
Cassava peel feeds a biogas digester that heats the garri roasters on the mill floor.
Trucks both ways
Trucks that deliver feed to farms come back with outgrower crops, so no truck drives empty.
