Garri lines at double shift. Dry air helps the roast.
How we work
Our mill floor was designed by the people who work on it. Peeling, washing, grating, pressing, sieving and roasting run in one line, under one roof, with a quality lab checking moisture and acidity every hour. The roasters run on biogas from cassava peel and on solar power when the grid fails.
Through the year
Garri lines at double shift. Dry air helps the roast.
Flour line runs on cassava from store and outgrower deliveries.
Palm oil pressing season. Covered drying floors keep grain dry.
Rice parboiling and milling. Cassava intake rises again.
The process
Roots peeled by hand and machine, then washed twice in clean water.
Grated fine and pressed in bags for 24 to 48 hours, depending on the product.
Garri roasted in steady trays, flour dried on racks, never on the ground.
Sieved to an even grain, weighed twice and sealed with a batch code.
