How we work
Grain we know, feed we trust
Because most of the maize comes from our own fields and outgrowers, we know where every load was grown and how it was dried. That means fewer surprises for your birds. Each batch is tested for moisture, protein and aflatoxin before it is bagged.

The process
Step by step
Intake
Grain weighed, tested for moisture and aflatoxin, and dried if needed.
Grind and mix
Ground and mixed to formula with soya, premix and minerals.
Pellet or extrude
Poultry feed pelleted or crumbled, fish feed extruded to float.
Test and bag
Each batch tested, bagged in 25 kg or 15 kg bags and dated.

How much feed will your flock or pond need?
Choose your birds or fish and the numbers. We work out the kilograms, the bags and the cost at example rates, and you can add it straight to an order.
Broilers use about 4.3 kg of feed each over six weeks, layers about 120 g a day, catfish about 0.95 kg per fingerling raised. Example figures.

Is there a minimum order?
Ten bags for delivery, any amount for pickup at the depot.
Do you give credit to farmers?
Outgrowers in good standing can take feed against their next harvest. Other customers pay by card or transfer through Receivly.
Can you make a custom formula?
For orders over 10 tonnes a month we can adjust protein and energy with your vet or nutritionist.
How should I store feed?
Off the floor on pallets, away from walls, in a dry and airy store. Use within eight weeks.
