Before you port
Things to check

| Use up your airtime | Airtime on the old network does not move with you. |
| Clear any postpaid bill | Your old network may block porting if a bill is unpaid. |
| Note your bank alerts | Bank SMS alerts continue because your number stays the same. |
| Wait 90 days after a port | The rules require 90 days on a network before porting again. |
