Instrument rating

The instrument rating lets you fly in cloud and low visibility, on airways and instrument approaches. In the rainy season it is the difference between flying and waiting on the ground.

On the course

Questions people ask

Can I do it on a single engine aircraft?

Yes, on request, at a lower cost. Most of our students take it on the twin because airline and charter jobs require it.

Will rain cancel my lessons?

Less than you think. Flying in cloud is the point. We only cancel for thunderstorms near the airfield, and then we move you to the simulator.
