How the course runs
A typical full time timetable. Weekend and modular students follow the same order at their own pace.

Phase 1, months 1 to 6
Airline transport theory ground school in Ikoyi, with fortnightly mock exams and Saturday clinics. You sit the first exams in month five.
- 02
Phase 2, months 6 to 9
Basic flying in the NW-1 to first solo and the navigation syllabus, about 60 hours.
- 03
Phase 3, months 9 to 12
Solo hour building and cross-country flying across the south west with route packs, about 70 hours.
- 04
Phase 4, months 12 to 15
Instrument flying in the simulator and the light twin, then the multi-engine and instrument rating tests.

Phase 5, months 15 to 17
Commercial licence preparation, advanced handling and the commercial skills test.

Phase 6, month 18
Multi-crew and jet orientation in the two-pilot simulator, plus airline assessment preparation.

Questions people ask
Do you guarantee an airline job?
No school honestly can. Airlines recruit when they need crew. We prepare you well, introduce you to operators who visit, and help with applications, but jobs are never promised.
Can I pay per phase?
Yes. The course is split into six phases and you pay each before it starts. Families often combine savings, a staff loan or support from a sponsor.
What happens if I fail an exam?
You get two free retake preparation sessions and resit at the next sitting. Repeated failure triggers a progress review with the head of training, not automatic removal.
