Analysis
A driver covering 60 km a day across Lagos spends about ₦360,000 a month on petrol in a mid-size SUV. The same distance in a Savanna costs about ₦54,000 to charge at home, less with solar.
Work out your own savingFrom the assembly hall
Inside the assembly hall off Abraham Adesanya roundabout, 214 technicians join body, battery pack and motor into a finished car. Every Nerova passes 312 checks before it leaves, including a 40 minute drive on the Ajah test loop and a soak test that sprays the underbody the way a July downpour does.
The cars are designed for the roads we drive: high ground clearance, long-travel suspension tuned on the Lekki to Epe road, sealed battery packs that are tested in standing water, and air conditioning that cools a black cabin in under four minutes in traffic.
Parts that suit local supply, from glass to seats, now come from 38 Nigerian suppliers. That keeps prices steadier against the exchange rate and keeps spare parts a day away, not a ship away.
Notice
With the Home Link box a full Savanna runs lights, fans, the fridge and Wi-Fi for about three days during a grid outage. No generator noise, no fumes in the compound.

D1Charging
Fast bays take a Savanna from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes. Hubs run on solar canopies with battery storage, so they keep charging when the grid goes.

What owners tell us, unedited apart from length.
“I drive from Sangotedo to Victoria Island every day. I used to budget for fuel every Monday. Now I charge at home and forget about it.”
“Our first two Haul vans paid back the difference in fuel and servicing inside eighteen months. The drivers fight over who gets them.”
“During the last outage our Savanna ran the house for two nights. My mother asked me which generator I bought.”
