Getting here

Find us on Marian Road

We are on Marian Road, a short drive from the Calabar Road junction, with the main entrance facing the almond trees. Drop-off is right at the front door, and there is free parking for sixty cars behind the building.

Coming by keke or taxi? Ask for Mosaic Children’s Hospital, Marian Road. On busy mornings, a 7:30 or after-school slot avoids most traffic.

Helping your child

Talking about the visit

We tell children exactly what will happen, in small words, and we never say it will not hurt if it might. Honest and gentle is what helps.

Mrs Nsikak Umoh, example lead play specialist

Read Ola’s story together the night before, and let your child choose a buddy in the booking steps. On the day, give them a job: holding the card, or telling the nurse their age.

If your child has a fear of needles, tell us when you book. Our play specialists can meet you first.

Questions

Before your first visit

Can siblings come

Yes. The play area keeps them busy, though only one parent goes into the clinic room if space is tight.

Is there somewhere to breastfeed

Yes, a private feeding room beside the waiting area, and you are welcome to feed anywhere you feel comfortable.

What if we are late

Let us know on WhatsApp. We will fit you in or offer a new time the same day if we can.

All set for the visit
