What is the visit for, your child?
Signs such as struggling to breathe, a fit, being very hard to wake, or a rash that does not fade when pressed need to be seen now. Come to the children’s emergency, open 24 hours, or call +234 800 000 0183. You can still book a follow-up here.

What happens when you arrive

Check in
At the front desk with your reference, or just your child’s name. Ten minutes early helps on busy mornings.

Nurse first
Height, weight, temperature and a few questions, in a room with a tortoise on the wall.

The doctor
Usually within twenty minutes of your time. If the clinic is running late, we tell you by WhatsApp.

The plan
Written down and sent to your phone, with any tests or follow-up booked before you leave.

Small things that help
Bring a friend
A toy can have its heartbeat checked too. Our nurses are very good at this.
Tell the truth, gently
If there will be an injection, say so, and that it will be quick. Surprises are harder.
Stickers are real
Every child gets one. Brave is not the same as not crying.
You stay
A parent can stay for every check, test and treatment, including in the emergency.

Questions
About booking
Can I book for two children at once
Yes. Finish one booking, then choose book another; we will put the visits side by side.
How do I change or cancel
Reply to the WhatsApp confirmation or call the front desk. There is no charge to move a visit more than four hours ahead, and we refund the fee if you cancel.
Can I book on the day
Yes, if there are places. For anything urgent, come to the children’s emergency instead.
Do you see teenagers alone
Teenagers can have part of the visit on their own if they want to, and a parent joins for the rest.
Not sure which clinic you need
Ask the chat or the front desk. A person on the team will point you to the right doctor.
