How we keep your building moving
We modernise one car at a time, so a building with two lifts always has one working. Noisy work happens in agreed hours, and the work area is boarded and kept clean every evening.
For single lift buildings we plan the work over a long weekend where possible, and arrange porters for older residents on the days the car is out. Your residents get a notice a week before and a daily update on WhatsApp.

Questions
Asked about this service
Will my building need a new shaft?
No. Modernisation reuses the shaft, guide rails and usually the counterweight.
Is it cheaper than a new lift?
Usually 40 to 70 per cent of the cost, and much faster.
Can you keep our cabin finish?
Yes, on levels 1 and 2. We refresh lighting and buttons only if you ask.
What about the approvals?
We handle the inspection and the new certificate after testing.
