Applications for the 2027 Ardent scholarships open in January for 120 students from Plateau at universities and technical colleges in Nigeria.

Each scholarship covers tuition and a monthly allowance paid into an Ardent Youth account, for the length of the course.

Half of the places are reserved for technical and agricultural courses, reflecting the skills the plateau’s economy needs.

Scholars are invited to a paid internship at Ardent during their long vacation, in branches, credit or digital teams.

The scheme began in 2016 and has supported 640 students in this example. Many now work in Jos.

Applications are made online with a short essay and a letter from a teacher or lecturer.
