- Bid
- The highest price a buyer is offering right now.
- Offer
- The lowest price a seller will accept right now.
- Settlement
- When cash and shares actually change hands, two working days after the trade.
- Yield
- The yearly dividend as a percentage of the share price.
- Market value
- The share price times the number of shares in issue.
- Contract note
- The official record of your trade and its costs.
