Risk and disclosures
The risks, said plainly
Investing in shares can grow your money over time, and it can also lose it. This page sets out the main risks, how we handle conflicts and how to complain.
Risks
Main risks
Prices fall
Share prices can fall a long way, and stay down for years.
Selling takes time
Some shares trade rarely, so selling quickly can mean a lower price.
Dividends change
Companies can cut or stop dividends at any time.
Currency and inflation
Naira returns may not keep pace with prices or other currencies.

Examples on this site
Every company, price, chart, rate and figure on this demo website is invented. The market board ticks with example prices generated in your browser; it is not connected to any exchange.
Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell. Calculators use example rates you choose and do not predict returns.
Fairness

Questions
Disclosure questions
Is my money protected if Summit fails?
Your shares are held in your name at the depository and client cash is kept apart, so they are not the firm's to lose. An investor protection fund may cover certain losses.
Where is your annual report?
On a real site it would be here. This demo firm has none.
