Three welders
and a pickup
Summit started in Trans-Amadi in 2004. Twenty-two years later we run four bases and 38 standing crews, and still answer the operations phone ourselves.
Summit was founded by three welders who had spent a decade working for international contractors and believed a Nigerian company could do the same work to the same standard. Their first contract was a weekend tie-in on an onshore flowline. They finished a day early and the client called again.
Growth came slowly and on purpose: slickline in 2008, the Onne yard in 2012, marine in 2016, the capability matrix in 2024. Head office moved to Yaba in 2019 to be close to the engineering talent coming out of Lagos universities.

I3Questions
Is Summit Nigerian owned?
Yes, by its founders and an employee share scheme.
Do you work outside Nigeria?
Occasionally in neighbouring countries with Nigerian clients. Our focus is the Niger Delta.
How do I visit a base?
Book through the contact page. Visitors need PPE and a short induction.
Tell us the scope.
An engineer replies within one working day with a draft scope, crew plan and price. Live jobs: call the operations room day and night.
