Types
Two kinds of retainer.
Clear retainers
Thin clear trays worn at night. Easy to clean and replace from your scan.
Fixed retainers
A fine wire bonded behind the front teeth. Nothing to remember, but needs careful cleaning.

Many people have a fixed wire behind the lower teeth and a clear retainer for the top.

Rinse with cool water every morning and brush gently with a soft brush.

Soak in cleaning crystals once a week. Never use hot water, it warps them.

Most lost retainers are wrapped in a napkin at a restaurant. Use the case.

About retainers.
How long do I wear retainers?
Nightly, for as long as you want teeth to stay straight. Teeth can move at any age.
My retainer feels tight. Is that normal?
A little tightness after a few missed nights is common and usually means teeth moved slightly. Wear it and tell us at your next check.
I lost my retainer. What now?
Message us. We can make a new pair from your last scan, usually within a week.
Do you post orders outside Ilorin?
Not yet. Items can be collected at the clinic or delivered in Ilorin.
