Early checks
Why we like to see children at 7.
By about age 7, the first adult molars and front teeth have usually come in. That is a good time to spot problems with how the jaws are growing or where teeth are heading. Most children need nothing yet and we simply see them again in a year.
For a few, a simple early appliance can make later treatment shorter or easier. We will always explain why, and you can always say no.

Questions
Common questions.
What age should my child first come?
Around age 7, or sooner if you notice something, such as a bite that looks off or teeth that stick out a lot.
Will my child miss school?
Rarely. After-school and Saturday slots are kept for students.
Can teens be trusted with aligners?
Teen aligners have wear indicators so you can both see they are being worn. If not, we can switch to braces.
Do you see children with special needs?
Yes. Tell us what helps your child and we will plan a calm, longer visit.
Is this right for you?
Your orthodontist can tell you after a short consultation and scan.
