Your treatment journey, stage by stage
Fertility care can feel like a maze. Here is the whole path laid out in seven stages, so you always know where you are, what comes next, and who will be with you.
Your named nurse walks every stage with you. (Example image.)
How to read this page
Each stage below opens to show what happens, who you will meet and what to bring. The line on the left fills as you read, so you can see how far through the story you are.
Tell us where you are now and the page will mark your stage and list your next three steps. We remember your choice on this device only, so you can come back to it.
Timings are typical, not fixed. Some people move quickly; others pause between stages for weeks or months. Your doctor will set real dates with you, and you can stop at any point.

Plan your dates
Pick the week you might like to begin and we will sketch a calendar using typical timings for an IVF journey. It is only a guide to help you plan leave, travel or family visits. Your real dates are set with your doctor and can change with your body.

Support at every stage
A named nurse
The same nurse from your first visit to your follow-up. They send your dates, answer your messages and call you before any result is shared.
Counselling, included
One counselling session with every treatment plan, more if you wish, and free drop-in time every weekday from 12pm to 2pm.
A support circle
On the first Saturday of every month, people at every stage meet over tea in the garden room. Partners are welcome; speaking is never required.
Questions about the journey
Do we have to do every stage?
No. Many people stop after the assessment because the results point to a simpler path, or because they want time. Each stage is a choice.
Can I pause between stages?
Yes, for as long as you need. Your results stay on file, and your nurse will tell you if any test needs repeating after a long gap.
Is my partner expected at every visit?
Not every visit. We ask both partners to come to the plan meeting if possible, and the male partner for his part of the assessment. Video works too.
What if I live outside Enugu?
The first conversation and plan meeting can happen by video. Tests and treatment days take place at the centre; we can suggest guesthouses close by.
Will you tell me my chances?
Your doctor will talk honestly about what your results mean for you. We do not quote general success rates, because every person is different.
Ready to begin at stage one?
A first conversation is 45 minutes, in person or by video. You will leave knowing more, with nothing to decide.
