Specifics
What makes a stand safe
- Legs sized for the full load plus wind on the tanks, not guesswork
- Cross bracing in both directions, bolted so it can be tightened later
- Chequer plate deck with toe boards and a guard rail
- Caged ladder above 6 metres, with a lockable gate at the bottom
- Base plates and holding-down bolts set into a designed concrete pad
- Hot-dip galvanised as standard, so rust is not a worry for decades

Questions
About tank stands
How high should my stand be?
Each metre of height gives roughly 0.1 bar of pressure. For a two-storey house 6 to 9 metres is common; for estates with long pipe runs, 12 to 15 metres.
Can you move an existing stand?
Usually yes, if it is bolted. We inspect it first and replace any rusted members before re-erecting.
Do you supply the tanks?
We can, through suppliers we trust, but most clients buy their own. We set the deck size around the tanks you choose.
