Trusses
Clear halls up to 36 metres
A steel truss replaces heavy timber that termites and damp eventually find. We make Warren, Pratt and bow trusses in hollow sections or angles, fabricated in halves that fit on our trucks and joined on site with high strength bolts.
Fixing points for ceilings, lights, fans and sound are built in, so your electrician never has to drill the steel.

Built in phases
Markets and stations stay open: we make bays in batches and erect at night or on quiet days.

Questions
About trusses and canopies
Can you replace an old timber roof?
Yes. We survey the walls and ring beam, then design trusses that sit on the existing structure. The old roof comes off and the new one goes on in days, not weeks.
Do trusses need maintenance?
Galvanised trusses under a roof need almost none. Painted trusses should be checked every five years for scratches from other trades.
Can you curve the roof?
Yes. Bow and arched trusses are rolled in our yard. They cost about 12% more than straight trusses.
