How it works

From your store room to a transfer

  1. 1

    Sort and bag

One material per bag. Rinse bottles and cans. Keep card dry.

  2. 2

    Bring or book

Drop off at Quarry Road, or book a pickup from 10 kg. Pickups over 50 kg are free.

  3. 3

    Weigh together

Our scale is checked every quarter. You see the reading and get a printed slip.

  4. 4

    Paid the same day

Bank transfer before you leave, or credit on your Greenline plan if you prefer.

Groups

Schools, churches and youth groups

Collect as a group, sell as a group.

Several schools in Abeokuta run bottle drives each term and use the money for books and sports kits. We lend sacks, come to weigh at the school, and pay the bursar by transfer with a slip for every class.

Churches and mosques collect sachets after services. Youth groups clear a street and sell what they find. Ask for a group account and we give you a monthly total.

Fair rules

What we cannot buy

  1. Nothing we suspect is stolen. Manhole covers, cables, road signs and rail parts are refused and reported.
  2. No wet or dirty loads. We may sort it for you and pay a lower rate, or ask you to take it back.
  3. Adults sell, children help. Sellers are 18 or older. Schools sell through the bursar.
  4. Rates move with the market. Rates on this page are examples and change weekly.
