Performance squad
For juniors who want to win
A small squad, twelve hours a week, a head coach who travels with you and a plan written for each player.
- 12hours a week
- 10players maximum
- 4coaches involved
The week
Twelve hours, planned
Load goes up before tournaments and drops after them. Sunday is always rest.
Each player has a written plan reviewed every four weeks with a parent. The plan covers technique, tactics, fitness, school work and rest, because a tired student is a slow player.
The pathway
From trial to tournaments
- Trial
A two hour session with Kelechi Nwosu: rallies, serves, match play and a short fitness test.
- Plan
A written plan with goals for the term, agreed with the player and a parent.
- Train
Twelve hours a week with video review every Monday and a gym block twice a week.
- Compete
A calendar of Abuja, Lagos and national junior events, with a coach travelling to the main ones.
- Review
Every four weeks the plan is checked against match results and adjusted.
