About Crown Courts
Two courts, a ball machine and a big idea
We started in 2014 with two courts and a borrowed ball machine. Today six floodlit courts host 420 juniors a term and adults from 6am until 10pm.

Our story
Twelve years, one rally at a time
- 2014
Two courts and a borrowed ball machine. Twelve juniors on the first Saturday.
- 2016
Floodlights on courts 1 and 2. Evening adult classes begin.
- 2018
Four more courts, the parents’ terrace and the first Crown Junior Open.
- 2021
Solar and inverter backup. The lights stop going out mid point.
- 2024
Covered court 4 and the performance squad gym.
- Today
Six courts, six coaches and a booking sheet anyone can use.

How we keep juniors safe
Our safeguarding lead is Amina Yusuf. Every coach and desk staff member is trained each year.
- Two adults on every junior court, always in sight of the terrace.
- WhatsApp messages to parents only through the club number.
- Signed pickup list and a message when your child leaves.
