How to make a claim without the stress
Most delays in claims come from missing information, not from anyone being difficult. Here is what we need, and why.
Tell us early
Call or message as soon as you safely can. You do not need every document to start; we give you a reference and a list.
For theft and burglary, report to the police within 24 hours and ask for an extract. We can tell you which division covers your area.
Photos are your best friend
Take photos of the damage, the scene and anything broken, from far away and close up. Send them on WhatsApp with your reference. Voice notes are fine too.
Why we sometimes send an assessor
For larger claims, an assessor or loss adjuster visits to see the damage. They are not there to catch you out; they make sure the settlement matches the real cost of repair.
How we decide
We read the claim against your policy terms. If it is covered, we approve repairs or pay. If it is not, we write to you with the clause and the reason, and offer a review by a different manager. We never promise a payout before the claim is assessed.
