Case study
Treated water for 120 homes
A new estate in Tarauni had two existing boreholes with high iron and no storage. Residents bought sachet water to drink. We added a treatment plant, a water tower and a metered network.
Example project figures for this demo.
The challenge
Iron at 2.4 mg/L stained every tank and bath. The two boreholes were pumped straight into homes, so pressure dropped whenever power went off.
What we built
We redeveloped both boreholes, built a pressure filter plant with oxidising media, a carbon stage and UV, and a 60,000 litre steel tower on a 12 m frame with a standby generator for the pumps.
The result
Clear water in every home, lab tested monthly. Residents stopped buying drinking water and the estate now bills water by meter.

The monthly lab sheet on the notice board did more for resident trust than anything else we tried.
