Vaccinations and prevention

Vaccines on time, without the stress

A good vaccine course protects your pet against the serious infections we still see in Lagos every year. We keep the schedule, send reminders, and make the needle the least interesting part of the visit.

What we protect against

The core vaccines, explained simply

Dogs

  • Parvovirus, the most common serious puppy illness we see
  • Distemper
  • Infectious hepatitis
  • Leptospirosis, spread by rats after flooding
  • Rabies, required by law and for travel

Cats

  • Feline enteritis
  • Cat flu viruses
  • Rabies, for cats that go outdoors or travel
  • Leukaemia virus, advised for outdoor cats

Parasite control

Lagos is warm and wet for much of the year, so ticks, fleas and worms never really take a season off. We will suggest a monthly routine that suits your pet's lifestyle and your budget.

Schedule tool

Work out your pet's vaccine dates

Enter your puppy or kitten's date of birth and we will show the dates their vaccines usually fall due. Save them to your phone or bring them to your first visit.

A guide only. Your vet will confirm the right plan at the first check.

What a vaccine visit looks like

A tiny white kitten being checked before its vaccine
A French bulldog in a spotted bandana waiting for its booster
A small white kitten held safely in cupped hands
    01

    Health check first

We only vaccinate a well pet, so every visit starts with a full check and a weigh in.

    02

    Quick and calm

Treats, a lick mat for dogs and a towel wrap for cats. Most pets barely notice.

    03

    Card and reminder

You get a vaccine card, a digital copy and a text reminder two weeks before the next one.
