Shipment calendar
Every vessel cut-off for the next six months. Choose a product, pick a window and read the full spec, containers left and arrival estimates. Hold containers while our desk prepares the contract.
Example schedule for this demo, worked out from today’s date. Vessel names are invented.
From hold to bill of lading
Hold
Hold containers on a window for 72 hours, free of charge.
Contract
We send a proforma invoice and contract on the same working day.
Payment
Letter of credit at sight, cash against documents, or 30% advance and balance against copies.
Sail
Stuffing in Ilorin, sealed, trucked and loaded before the cut-off.
What a cut-off date means
- Stuffing in Ilorin closes at 17:00 on the cut-off day
- Trucks reach Apapa or Tin Can within 30 hours
- The vessel usually sails 3 to 5 days after the cut-off
- If a vessel is delayed, your containers move to the next window free
About the calendar
Is a hold a firm booking?
A hold reserves space for 72 hours. It becomes firm when the contract is signed and payment terms are agreed.
Can I choose the shipping line?
Yes, for programmes of five containers or more. Otherwise we book with the line that best fits the cut-off.
What if I need a date that is not shown?
Tell the export desk. For eight containers or more we can add a window.
Not sure which window?
Use the price calculator to compare FOB, CFR and CIF, then come back to hold containers.
