The story

About the book

Mr Danjuma has lived alone in his compound on Barnawa Close since his wife died. Then a young man arrives with a letter, a suitcase and a story that does not quite add up. Over one long rainy season the two men repair a roof, a radio and, slowly, each other.

The first pages
