About Monolith
Ibadan cement, made by people who pour it
Monolith started in 2009 as a ready-mix yard on the Bodija side of Ibadan. Today we run our own kiln at Moniya, a fleet of 380 trucks and a network of dealers across the South West.
Our story
From one mixer to a kiln of our own
Three moments that shaped how we work.
A yard and two mixers
Our founder, an engineer who had waited too often for late concrete, opened a ready-mix yard near Bodija with two second-hand mixers and a promise: on site before 7am.
The Moniya kiln
After years of buying clinker, we built our own line at Moniya. Owning the kiln meant owning the quality, and we have published batch results ever since.
Every bag traceable
Batch codes on every bag, results online, and a dispatch system that tells builders where their truck is. The promise from 2009 still stands.
What we believe
A building is only as honest as its concrete
Most failures we are called to investigate come down to three things: the wrong cement for the job, too much water, and no curing. We cannot stand on every site, so we put our engineers' knowledge into our tools, our bags and our drivers.
- Every bag weighs 50 kg at the gate, checked on a certified scale
- Every batch is tested at 2, 7 and 28 days, and the results are public
- Every driver carries a slump cone, and refuses to add water on site
- Every customer can talk to a person, not only a machine

Questions
About the company
What people ask before they trust a new supplier.
Is Monolith a manufacturer or a distributor?
Both. We make clinker and cement at Moniya and sell through our own depots and 146 appointed dealers. Buying from a dealer gets you the same bag, batch code and certificate.
Can I visit the plant?
Yes. We host engineers, students and customers on the first Thursday of every month. Book a place on the plant page.
Do you supply outside Oyo State?
We deliver to Osun and Kwara from our own depots, and our dealers cover Ogun and Ekiti. Lagos orders above 1,200 bags go direct from Moniya.
How do I become a dealer?
Write to the dealer desk through the contact page. We look for a lock-up store, a forklift or strong loaders, and a clean record with local builders.
Talk to the team that pours it.
Engineers, dealers and first time builders all reach a person on the same line.
