Seeing a doctor
- 01
Choose your clinic
Pick a GP clinic near home when you join. You can change it once a quarter.
- 02
Walk in or book
Most clinics see walk-ins in the morning. The virtual doctor is there any time.
- 03
Show your card
Reception asks us for the code.
- 04
Referral if needed
Your GP refers you to a specialist in the network.
Tests and medicines
Lab tests and scans
Your doctor sends the request to a network lab. Results go to your doctor and to your member area.
Medicines
Prescriptions are filled at partner pharmacies. Your plan covers the medicines on its list. Ask the pharmacist about covered options.
Long-term conditions
Refills for long-term conditions can be delivered every month on Silver, Gold and Senior.

Having a baby
Antenatal visits, scans, delivery and newborn checks at our maternity partners.
Tell us as soon as you know, through the chat or the member area. We will register you with a maternity partner, book your first antenatal visit and send you the dates for the free antenatal classes.
Your newborn is covered from birth when you add them within 30 days.
Maternity partnersAuthorisation codes explained
What is an authorisation code?
A short code that tells the hospital we will pay for a covered service. Hospitals request it from us.
Do I need to call for a code?
No. The hospital calls us. You can see every code in the member area.
What if the code is refused?
We explain why and offer a covered alternative. You can ask for a review by a Meridian doctor.
