Swahili coast
Stone towns, coral reefs and evening dhow sails on the Indian Ocean, with flights from Abuja included. From ₦4,250,000 per guest.
Day by day
The route
Zanzibar to Pemba to Lamu to Malindi to Mombasa to Mafia Island. Times can change with the weather; the captain always chooses the calmer water.
Day 1: Zanzibar embark
Fly from Abuja with a host; board in Stone Town from 3pm. Your first sunset is from the deck, with dhows crossing the harbour.
Day 2: Pemba ashore
Clove farms, mangroves and some of the clearest water in East Africa for a snorkel or a glass-bottom boat.
Day 3: at sea
A slow sea day: a talk from our guest historian, the spa, and dinner at Kola.
Day 4: Lamu ashore
An old Swahili town without cars, only donkeys and dhows. Walk the lanes, then sail at sunset on a traditional boat.
Day 5: Malindi ashore
Marine park day: coral gardens, a long beach lunch and the old Vasco da Gama pillar on the point.
Day 6: Mombasa ashore
Fort Jesus, the old town spice shops and a coffee in a courtyard before an evening sail south.
Day 7: at sea
At sea all day. Cooking class with the chef in the morning, highlife in the Atlantic Lounge at night.
Day 8: Mafia Island ashore
A marine reserve where whale sharks visit in season. Swim, snorkel or rest on a sandbank in the middle of the sea.
Day 9: Zanzibar home
Breakfast on board and off the ship by 9am. Your host can book a car or a connecting flight home to Abuja.

Can we pay in instalments?
Yes. A 20 percent deposit holds the cabin and the balance can be paid monthly until 60 days before sailing, by card or bank transfer.
