Book this voyage

  1. Day 1: Lagos embark

  2. Day 2: at sea

A slow sea day: a talk from our guest historian, the spa, and dinner at Kola.

  3. Day 3: Calabar ashore

Back on home water. The old residency museum, the drill ranch and a Calabar kitchen lunch of edikang ikong and fresh fish.

  4. Day 4: Malabo ashore

Colonial squares, cocoa-coloured hills and a slow drive up Pico Basilé for the view over the island and the sea.

  5. Day 5: at sea

At sea all day. Cooking class with the chef in the morning, highlife in the Atlantic Lounge at night.

  6. Day 6: São Tomé ashore

Rainforest, waterfalls and the old cocoa estates. Taste chocolate made a few metres from the trees, then swim off a black sand beach.

  7. Day 7: Príncipe ashore

One of the quietest islands in the Atlantic. Tender ashore to a beach you will have nearly to yourselves, with snorkelling over the reef.

  8. Day 8: at sea

Sea day. Sleep in, a swim, a long lunch on the terrace and the captain's welcome evening.

  9. Day 9: at sea

A last day at sea, with a farewell dinner and the crew singing on deck.

  10. Day 10: Lagos home

Breakfast on board and off the ship by 9am. Your host can book a car or a connecting flight home to Abuja.
