About Elysian
A cruise line from here
Elysian began in 2017 with a chartered yacht, a stack of guest books and a simple idea: our own coast deserved a beautiful way to see it.
We are a small company with two ships, a booking salon in Gwarinpa and seven hundred people who would rather you went home rested than impressed.
Most of our crew are from Nigeria and Ghana and trained in our own school in Lagos. Our captains have sailed this coast for twenty years or more. We buy food from the ports we visit and pay our suppliers in thirty days, every time.

What we hold to
Four promises we keep
Show the full price
Every fare includes port charges in the total, before you talk to anyone.
Cook the coast
We buy fish, fruit and vegetables in the ports we visit, from people we know.
Train our own
Our crew school in Lagos takes 120 students a year, paid while they learn.
Leave the sea cleaner
No plastic bottles in rooms, shore power where we can, and waste landed in port.
Community
The crew school
Every year our school in Lagos trains young people from Lagos, Abuja, Enugu and Accra as stewards, cooks, engineers and hosts. Graduates join Elysian or our partners at sea, and many are now senior officers.
Applications open every March. Ask at the Abuja salon.
