About the tests
Which test do I need?
For a home on a borehole, the borehole full profile. For a home on a public supply, the potability check. Worried about germs in a tank, the microbiological screen. Factories need the compliance panel.
How do I take a sample myself?
We send sterile bottles with instructions. Run the tap for two minutes, fill without touching the inside of the cap, keep it cool and bring it within 24 hours.
Will the test tell me if my water is safe?
It tells you how your water compares with drinking water guideline values for each thing tested. We explain what that means for your use; it is not a medical opinion.
How often should I test?
Boreholes once a year and after any repair. Factories as often as their licence requires, usually monthly.
