Short answers from the desk
Tip 1
Ask for a detailed invoice
One line per product, with quantities, unit prices and the material. Vague invoices slow everything down.
Tip 2
Ship early in the month
Banks and terminals are calmer, and Form M approvals move faster.
Tip 3
Keep the empty moving
Return the empty container quickly. Late returns eat into your deposit.
Tip 4
Photograph the seal
Ask your supplier for a photo of the container seal number at loading.
Tip 5
Watch the rains
Haulage slows in the rainy season. Allow an extra day for Onitsha and Enugu.
Tip 6
One contact per file
Give us one decision maker. Mixed instructions cause delays at release.
