Atelier Noir / Bespoke
Cut from your pattern
A pattern drafted for your body alone, three fittings and a garment that is yours for decades. Suits, agbada, kaftans and evening gowns.
The bespoke journey
- Week 1Consultation and measurements
Thirty-two measurements, posture notes and a talk about the occasion. We sketch three directions with you.
- Week 2Pattern and toile
Your pattern is drafted by hand and cut in calico. The first fitting happens in this toile.
- Week 4Second fitting in your cloth
The garment is basted together so lines can still move. Bring the shoes you will wear.
- Week 6Handwork and finishing
Buttonholes, linings, embroidery and beading, all by hand at the bench.
- Week 7 to 8Final fitting and delivery
A final check, a steam press and delivery by our rider, with your pattern kept on file.
Sketched with you
Three hand-drawn directions at the first meeting, refined until one feels right.
Machine where it is stronger
Long structural seams are machine sewn for strength; everything you can see is by hand.
Pinned on you
Every adjustment is pinned on your body, never guessed from a tape.

Do you make for clients abroad?

How do I pay?
Fifty percent to begin, thirty percent at the second fitting and twenty percent on collection, through Receivly by card or bank transfer.
What if I gain or lose weight before the event?
Tell us early. Alterations within the bespoke period are included.
