About Ugochukwu Brass Collective

The Ugochukwu Brass Collective is eleven musicians, three generations and one family name. They play the highlife their grandfathers played in the hotels of the 1970s, and the newer songs their children write.

This is our most mixed audience of the year. Grandmothers dance with grandchildren, and the bar sells more zobo than anything else.
