Our community access charter, in plain words
By the Vertex team. Example article for this demo.
Every tower stands in someone’s neighbourhood. Our community access charter sets out, in plain words, what neighbours and landowners can expect from us. Here is a summary.
A named person
Every community near a Vertex site has one named officer, with a phone number that is answered. If that officer is away, the operations line answers day and night.
Notice before work
We give 48 hours notice before any planned work near homes, and we do not run heavy trucks at night unless there is an emergency.
Quiet and clean
Generators near homes have acoustic canopies, and solar reduces how often they run. Fuel is stored in bunded tanks, and sites are cleaned every visit.
Jobs and respect
Guards, cleaners and labourers are hired from the community first. Our teams respect local customs, festivals and burial days, and plan work around them.
