The Last Danfo
Eighteen passengers. One bus. Zero change. A conductor on the final night of his old yellow bus decides to drive every passenger home, whatever it takes.
Synopsis
The story
After twenty two years on the Iwo Road to Challenge route, Mr Akanni's yellow bus is being taken off the road at midnight. He has one last load of passengers and no intention of going quietly.
There is a bride running late for her own introduction, a pastor with a goat, two students with an exam at eight, and a man who insists he is a famous footballer. None of them have change.
The Last Danfo is a warm, fast comedy about the city's buses and the people who keep them moving. It plays in Pidgin and English and is the film our audiences have laughed loudest at this year.
