Leave at the right time

The hour from 4:30pm to 7pm on Ring Road is the slowest of the day, especially near Challenge and the Iyaganku turn. For a 7pm show, leave Bodija by 5:45pm or come for the 8:15pm instead. From Iwo Road, the interchange clears after 7:30pm, which is why our late shows there start at 9:45pm.

Eat before or after

Most guests eat in the lobby before the film, and the busiest half hour at the popcorn bar is ten minutes before a big show starts. Pre-order and you skip it. If you want a sit down meal, the Velvet rooms serve jollof and grills at your recliner.

Pick the right show for the night

Weekday matinees before 5pm are ₦3,500 and quiet. Friday and Saturday night shows after 9pm are lively and full of students. Sunday at 4pm is family time, with subtitled shows and the Kids' Den busy.

Getting home

Our pick-up points are lit and watched until the last guest leaves. Keke riders wait at Ring Road and Iwo Road until about 11pm. After that, a ride app or a family pick-up is best.

Make a night of it

Tuesday is half price at ₦2,500, and the Sapphire Club adds Wednesday at the same price. Two films with a dinner break between them is a very Ibadan way to spend an evening.
